Seven Ministry Teams support the various ministries at Christ Church:
Worship and Music - This ministry plans special worship services throughout the year. This team is led by Ed Hasecke.
Buildings and Grounds - This ministry keeps our buildings and ground beautiful and in good working order. This team is led by Terry Barnes.
Christian Education - Adults - This ministry plans our adult forums and other educational offerings for adults. This team is led by Ty Buckman.
Christian Education - Children and Youth - This ministry coordinates our Sunday School classes, Vacation Bible School, children's choirs and other educational ministries for children and youth. This team is led by Bonnie Shelburne.
Community Life - Christ Church - This ministry coordinates our fellowship and pastoral care ministries. This team is led by Susan Sheridan Smith.
Community Life - Springfield and Beyond - This ministry coordinates all of our many and varied outreach ministries. This team is led by Rick Incorvati.
- Rainbow Table: The Rainbow Table is a free hot meal provided to the community at Saint John's Lutheran Church every Friday at noon. You may help just one day or every day you are able. No previous experience or training required. Please contact for more information.
- Coats and other winter clothes are still needed for students at Horace Mann Elementary (K-6th grade) and Hayward Middle School (7th and 8th grades). There is a large gray bin in the East Entrance where you can drop off these items.
Administration - This ministry assists the staff in daily operations of the church. This team is led by Don Wheeler.
